The Sound of the Turning

While I was praying, the Spirit of the Lord began to speak to me, and I heard these words:

"Do not misinterpret the shaking."

Then the Lord showed me an ancient door. It was a massive door, and it had not moved in many years. As the door began to open, its hinges made a loud and unsettling sound.

The Spirit of the Lord said:

"Many of My people have been praying for the door to open, but they are becoming afraid of the sound it makes while it is moving."

Hear me today. Everything that sounds troubling is not destruction. Everything that feels uncomfortable is not an attack. Sometimes the noise is evidence that something which has been locked for years is finally beginning to move.

I hear the Lord saying:

"The turning has already begun."

There is a turning taking place in homes, ministries, businesses, governments, and nations. Things that appeared permanently fixed are being moved by the hand of God.

But the Lord said:

"I am not merely opening doors. I am revealing what was hiding behind them."

This will be a season of exposure.

Hidden motives will be exposed. Corrupt agreements will be exposed. Private compromises will be exposed. Systems that have survived through intimidation, manipulation, and secrecy will begin turning against themselves.

This exposure will not stop in Washington. It will move through boardrooms, courtrooms, pulpits, platforms, and private places.

God is cleaning His house before He confronts the systems surrounding it.

The Lord said:

"I will not allow My name to be used as camouflage for ambition."

There are people who learned the language of revival but lost the heart of repentance. They learned how to attract crowds but forgot how to carry God's presence. They built platforms around personalities and then called those platforms the Kingdom.

But I see a nameless and faceless generation arising.

They will not need titles to obey God. They will not need permission from religious gatekeepers. They will not be intoxicated by popularity. They will carry an authority that was developed in prayer, obscurity, suffering, and obedience.

I heard the sound of dry bones beginning to move.

Some of you buried dreams because you believed their season had passed. You stopped speaking about them because disappointment made you embarrassed to hope again.

But the Lord says:

"What you called dead, I called dormant."

There is a difference between something that has died and something God has preserved beneath the surface.

The promise did not disappear. The assignment was not canceled. God was strengthening the roots while you were mourning the absence of fruit.

The Spirit of the Lord says:

"Speak again to what I spoke to you."

Speak to the vision.
Speak to the ministry.
Speak to the family.
Speak to the business.
Speak to the gift you stopped using.
Speak to the part of yourself that became silent after the battle.

You are not attempting to resurrect your own ambition. You are coming back into agreement with the word God placed inside you.

But you cannot carry yesterday's structure into tomorrow's assignment.

Some relationships must be released. Some methods must be abandoned. Some expectations must be surrendered. Some doors are closing because they are too small for the person you became while waiting.

Do not keep rebuilding what God has finished dismantling.

I hear the Lord saying:

"The old season taught you how to survive. The new season will teach you how to build."

America is standing at a threshold, but no political personality can accomplish what only repentance, truth, and spiritual awakening can produce.

God is not finished with this nation, but He is confronting the idols within it. He is confronting the worship of power. He is confronting the worship of money. He is confronting the worship of personalities.

The shaking is not evidence that God has abandoned us. The shaking is evidence that He refuses to leave us unchanged.

Do not fear the sound of the turning.

The door is moving.
The bones are moving.
The hidden things are surfacing.
The forgotten voices are awakening.
The intercessors are returning to their posts.
The builders are receiving new instructions.

The Spirit of God is breathing upon people who thought their most fruitful days were behind them.

This is not the end of your story.

This is the sound of the next chapter opening.
