A Prophetic Word

Watch The Power. Watch The Water.

Given to Prophet Tracy A. Cooke · August 28, 2026

There is a warning weighing heavily on my spirit concerning what is beginning to unfold in the nations.

As I look at what is happening around us, I believe the Body of Christ needs to pay attention now, before some of these things become impossible to ignore.

And this is the warning I believe the Spirit of the Lord is placing before His people:

“My people, do not be blinded by the wonder of what man is building.

For men shall boast of machines that think, systems that learn, and knowledge that moves faster than any generation before them has known.

But I say unto you: Look beneath what they are building.

For every machine must be fed. Every light must draw power. Every great system must depend upon something beneath it that keeps it alive.

And men are building faster than some of the foundations beneath them can bear.

Therefore I say unto you: Watch the power.

For the race for intelligence shall become a race for energy.

You shall hear more about power grids. You shall hear more about power plants. You shall hear governments ask where the power will come from, who shall receive it, and who shall pay for it.

You shall see great companies search for places where power is easier to obtain. You shall see projects slowed because the power cannot reach them fast enough.

Watch Europe.

Watch France. For the power that France has built shall draw attention in this new race. That which some called old shall suddenly become valuable again.

Watch the Netherlands. For the strain already seen there shall become a picture of what other places may face.

And watch the nations of southern Europe.

For power will not be the only question.

Water shall become part of the conversation.

Men have used water as though there would always be enough. They have built cities, farms, industries, and now great centers of technology, all drawing from the same earth.

And I say unto you: There is a cost when men take without wisdom.

There is a cost when growth becomes more important than stewardship.

There is a cost when men ask only, ‘Can we build it?’ and never stop to ask, ‘What will it take to keep it alive?’

There shall be communities that begin asking hard questions.

Who receives the power?

Who receives the water?

Who carries the cost?

Who receives the benefit?

These questions shall move from company offices into neighborhoods, city halls, governments, and elections.

And there shall be anger when ordinary people believe they are being asked to carry the burden while others receive the gain.

Do not hear this warning and become afraid.

But neither close your eyes.

For I am not telling you that every light shall go out. I am not telling you that every well shall run dry.

I am telling you that mankind is entering an age of tremendous hunger.

More power.

More speed.

More machines.

More knowledge.

More control.

And hunger without wisdom eventually consumes more than it intended.

What shall man do with greater intelligence if he does not also possess greater wisdom?

What shall he build if his knowledge increases but his heart remains unchanged?

What good is it to create a machine that can answer almost any question while man still cannot answer the question, ‘When is enough enough?’

Do not worship the work of your own hands.

I am not afraid of your machines.

I am not threatened by your technology.

Before man taught a machine to speak, I formed the tongue.

Before man taught a machine to see, I formed the eye.

Before man learned to carry power through wires, I commanded light to shine in the darkness.

The creation shall never become greater than the Creator.

But My people must not become foolish concerning the world being built around them.

Do not fear it.

Do not worship it.

Discern it.

For good shall come from much of what is being created.

Diseases shall be understood in ways that once seemed impossible.

Discoveries shall come faster.

Work that once took years shall sometimes be done in months, and work that took months shall sometimes be done in days.

But every tool placed into the hands of man reveals the heart of the one holding it.

The same fire that warms a house can burn it down.

The same water that gives life can become a flood.

And the question shall not only be what man can create.

The question shall be whether man has the wisdom to govern what he creates.

And there shall be places where wisdom comes too late.

There shall be projects announced with excitement that shall be slowed because the land, power, or water beneath them cannot carry what has been promised.

There shall be communities that say, ‘No more.’

There shall be leaders forced to choose between great investment and the fear of the people they govern.

There shall be arguments over land.

Arguments over power.

Arguments over water.

And the thing that men thought existed only inside a computer shall suddenly become a fight over the earth beneath their feet.

Watch this.

For the digital world still drinks from the natural world.

And there are limits men cannot erase simply because they have invented something new.

But hear Me, My people.

The greatest danger is not that the machines become powerful.

The greatest danger is that man becomes so impressed with his own power that he forgets how small he is.

Pride has destroyed more than technology ever could.

When men believe there is no limit to what they should possess, no limit to what they should consume, no limit to what they should control, and no voice above their own, they eventually discover limits through pain.

I do not desire suffering.

I desire wisdom.

I do not delight when a mother wonders whether she can afford to cool her home.

I do not delight when a farmer watches the water disappear from his land.

I do not delight when an elderly person fears opening another bill.

I do not delight when families carry the cost of decisions made by people who will never feel that cost themselves.

I see them.

I see the worker wondering whether his job will remain.

I see the parent wondering what kind of world his children will inherit.

I see the farmer watching the sky.

I see the family counting what remains.

And My Church must see them too.

Do not speak of nations and forget the families living inside them.

Do not speak of progress and forget the person paying the price.

Do not speak of technology and forget humanity.

And tell My people this:

Do not become prophets of fear.

Do not run through the streets declaring darkness when I have called you to carry light.

But neither close your eyes and pretend there is nothing to see.

Watch.

Pray.

Discern.

Warn when warning is needed.

Comfort those who are afraid.

Stand with those who carry burdens they did not create.

Remember the poor when powerful men speak of progress.

Remember the farmer when men speak of water.

Remember the family when men speak of power.

Remember the Creator when men boast of what they have created.

And tell My people to watch the power.

Tell them to watch the water.

For these things shall speak louder in the years ahead than they do today.

And when they begin to see these things enter the headlines, tell them I did not warn them so they would fear tomorrow.

I warned them so they would know how to stand when tomorrow arrived.”

Declare This

I will not be blinded by the wonder of what man is building.

I will look beneath what they are building.

I will not become a prophet of fear.

I will not close my eyes and pretend there is nothing to see.

I will watch. I will pray. I will discern.

I will remember the poor when powerful men speak of progress.

I will remember the farmer when men speak of water.

I will remember the Creator when men boast of what they have created.

The creation shall never become greater than the Creator.

He said to watch and to pray. Seven Days of Fire is our free prayer guide. It costs nothing and it never has.
