A Prophetic Word
Watch the Storehouses
Given to Prophet Tracy A. Cooke · October 9, 2026
There is a change taking place in the nations that many will overlook because it will not begin with armies marching down a street.
It will begin with warehouses.
It will begin with tanks, shelves, medicine, minerals, fuel, grain, parts and supplies.
And I say unto you, My people, watch the storehouses.
For many years the nations have asked, "How quickly can we move it? How cheaply can we buy it? How little can we keep on hand?"
But another question is rising now:
"What happens when the next shipment does not come?"
What happens when the road is closed?
What happens when the ship cannot sail?
What happens when one nation controls what another nation desperately needs?
What happens when the medicine is made far away, the mineral is processed far away, the fuel must pass through a narrow place, and the factory cannot work because one small thing is missing?
Watch, for the language will continue to change.
You will hear more about reserves.
You will hear more about stockpiles.
You will hear more about domestic supply.
You will hear more about strategic inventory.
Things that men once called wasteful will suddenly be called wise because disruption has taught the nations the price of having nothing stored.
But hear Me carefully.
A storehouse can be wisdom, and a storehouse can become an idol.
Joseph built storehouses before famine came.
Genesis 41 says, "And let them gather all the food of those good years that come…and that food shall be for store."
Why?
Not so Joseph could sit upon a mountain of grain and boast that he had more than everyone else.
The grain was stored because people would need to eat.
Families would need to live.
Children would need bread.
Nations would come looking for help.
There is a difference between preparation and fear.
There is a difference between a storehouse and a hoard.
One asks, "How can we be ready to serve?"
The other asks, "How can I make sure I have mine while everyone else suffers?"
Do not become like the rich man Jesus spoke about who filled bigger barns and then told his soul to rest because he had many goods laid up for many years.
His barns were full.
But his heart was empty.
My people, I am not calling you to panic.
I am not calling you to strip the shelves.
I am not calling you to live afraid of tomorrow.
I am calling you to wisdom.
For there will be moments when something ordinary becomes precious simply because it cannot be found.
Remember the mother standing at the pharmacy counter when the medicine her child needs is not there.
Remember the elderly person whose fixed income cannot chase a rising price.
Remember the farmer who cannot plant because one needed supply did not arrive.
Remember the worker whose factory grows quiet because one small part has stopped moving across the earth.
Do not speak of supply chains and forget the people standing at the end of them.
And do not mistake abundance for security.
A nation can possess great wealth and still discover that money cannot buy what no one is willing or able to deliver.
This is why you will see governments rethink what they keep.
This is why you will see nations pay a price simply to have something nearby.
This is why reserves that seemed old-fashioned will matter again.
But My Church must learn something deeper than the nations.
Joseph did not merely know how to store.
He knew why he was storing.
Preparation without compassion becomes selfishness.
Abundance without generosity becomes bondage.
Wisdom without love becomes cold.
So prepare your heart before you prepare anything else.
Ask yourself:
If I have enough and my neighbor does not, what kind of person will I become?
If fear enters the room, will I grab—or will I pray?
Will I hoard—or will I help?
Will I trust what is in my cupboard—or will I trust the One who has carried me every day of my life?
My people, there is nothing wrong with wisdom.
But your storehouse is not your Savior.
Your bank account is not your Savior.
Your government is not your Savior.
Your nation is not your Savior.
I AM.
I fed Elijah when the land was dry.
I sustained Israel in the wilderness.
I multiplied bread in the hands of My Son.
I have not lost the ability to care for My people.
So do not become prophets of fear.
Become people of wisdom.
Become people who notice the widow.
Become people who remember the poor.
Become people who can stand steady when everyone else is grabbing.
And tell My people:
Watch the storehouses.
Watch what the nations begin to keep.
Watch what they decide they can no longer afford to depend upon others to supply.
But while the world is learning how to build reserves, let My Church remember why I bless.
Not so you can close the door.
So you can open your hand.
Do not fear tomorrow.
Prepare wisely.
Give freely.
Pray faithfully.
And when the world discovers again that everything it needs cannot always be bought at the moment it is needed, remember this:
Your source has never been the warehouse.
Your source has always been Me.
Say this with me
Lord, You are my source. Not the warehouse, not the shelf, not the storehouse. You have carried me every day of my life, and You will carry me through whatever is coming. I will not live afraid of tomorrow. I will prepare with wisdom and I will give with an open hand. I will notice the widow. I will remember the poor. I will stand steady when everyone else is grabbing. My source has never been the warehouse. My source has always been You. In Jesus' name, amen.
